Hey Gang, last Sunday Jenny brought up a great idea to get all of our kiddos together and have them draw some Christmas Cards which we can make color copies of and then setup a date to take the children to Carroll Place Assisted Living here in Fairhope and let them hand them out to the residents! Let me know what you think on Sunday!! This is a picture of some my oldest Cody did 8 years ago...

The Church is going to watch the Mobile Bay Bears play the Huntsville Stars Saturday August 15th, they are giving away Alabama / Auburn Jerseys to the first 1,000 kids through the gate!! This may be something fun to do and take the kiddos along for a jersey and some sodas and dogs! Let me know if you are interested in going at chris@trgi.net

The Power Team will be here Wednesday the 21st until Sunday the 25th @ 7:00pm each evening. We need 3 people from our class to help with the product table on Sunday evening, there will be teenagers helping at the table as well. Let me know if you can help!

This Sunday we will be starting a new series on The Life and Times of Paul. Matt Teague will be teaching about the apostle's adventures and their ancient setting. Well our Tubin' Trip has come and gone but these images will definately last a while....check them out by clicking on the Tubin' link to the right. The weather stayed true for us and our Champion Seed Spitter turned out to be Kendra with Jason T coming in second! We all had a great time and the mini-bus held up like a champ!

Let's Buy a Bike for The 831 House....

The 831 House has a desperate need for bicycles right now! The bikes they purchase for the students cost around $90. If everyone in our class put up $5 we could easily get them a new bike and take it down there to the house and maybe volunteer for the day! Well here is the plan...Matt is going to back the church mini-bus down and drop us and our tubes into the river.

Here are the specifics from Matt himself:

Hi guys,
Nicole's days of youth and fun are drawing to a close.
So. Tubin'.
The plan is to meet about 9:30 Saturday morning in the church parking lot, and we'll take the mini-bus to the river. Unfortunately the church childcare ladies are a bit burned out, so everybody will have to make their own arrangements, although we might be able to pool our resources. If you need some help, by all means shoot me a note.
